An East Bay Engagement Session

I am fortunate enough to know these two quite well as they are part of our extended bay area family and I am so grateful that they are in our lives. Hilda has often worked with me too on weddings as my photo booth events manager. So, at each wedding we’ve worked at together, our topic eventually goes to - how she would have her own wedding, if that were to ever happen since at those times, she wasn’t even engaged yet… well fast forward and here we are! Engaged and in full wedding planning mode!

These two have decided to get married in El Salvador next year and sadly, I won’t be the one photographing it because instead I get to fully enjoy celebrating these two as a guest - YAY! (But I will probably still bring my film cameras and possibly my super8 camera - and yes will definitely make arrangements with their hired photographer, don’t worry!)

Anyway, back to their east bay engagement session. These two wanted to spotlight all the places that held meaning throughout their relationship- from first dates to their regular hangout locations. From bars and walking around in downtown Martinez because that is where Devin used to leave when they first met. Then it was off to one of the soccer fields that Devin practices and plays at and then of course to their favorite taco truck and their current place - a cute apartment in Oakland. The perfect way to end a night out on the Town.
