A wedding at Muir Woods community center

This little blog post has been sitting on my drafts folder for far too long and part of the reason for that is - it’s such a truly hidden gem of a Northern California wedding venue that I wanted to keep it my little secret - but it’s not right to gatekeep such a beautiful San Francisco Bay gem.

So without further ado:

I was super excited to be photographing this wedding and yes I did think it was in the actual Muir Woods at first until I researched it further - and I was even more excited! Not only from what the couple were planning but I excitedly found out that one of their guests I had known & met from a previous wedding I photographed (they were guests, or well he was their officiant! and I loved that wedding & couple too).

I think the reason why there isn’t more about this hidden gem of a venue - is, well I think people want to keep it a little secret and close to their heart. But it is really breathtaking and such remarkable place to get married at (even if you just set up for ceremony and perhaps do a reception at nearby Outdoor Art Club). I mean, take a look for yourself. If this is the vibe you are going for and want spectacular views for your intimate wedding (75 people max), then look no further than this quaint community center which is close to the Dipsea Trail with expansive views of Muir Woods area + Mt.
