Boho Inspired, Persian Wedding - Pt. 1
I was super excited to get an email from these two and when we scheduled to meet up - after I was supposed to meet up with someone selling their sailboat to me, I was beyond elated. The day was going so well already!
And then the day came and the sailboat sale fell through and I was not in a super good mood but having dinner with Cody & Nikkie made it all the better. It turns out these two are also sailors (ok, not that I’m actually a sailor) and we chatted about their day and how upset I was over losing this sailboat but they reassured me that it was probably for the best and that while I was super bummed- they were awesome and this was the actual silver lining of my day - AND IT WAS!

So again - despite what 2020 threw at us, we persevered. This was my last wedding of 2020.
The couple was fantastic, despite the ups and downs. Their day was just pure magic at their new venue for the very intimate ceremony and celebration at Notre Vue Winery

An Oakland Wedding Before the 2020 Shutdown | Oakland Wedding Photographer
When Cecilia & David emailed me about the possibility of photographing their wedding celebration at the Starline Social club in Oakland (which sadly is now no more) - I was beyond excited and thankful that their wedding planner, Brianna of Eras Collective Events, recommended me!
We chatted about our love of bourbon and horror movies (and at the time we were talking about Parasite - which later won an Oscar!) and what they do for a living - they are just amazing humans and I was so lucky to have met them and photograph their big day.

These two may look familiar since - they were also featured in the previous blog post of their wedding! (SEE BELOW).
It was so great to see these two again and while I couldn’t hug them and had a mask on 100% of the time (and they did too when we weren’t photographing) - it was SUCH a joy to get out of my house, take in some fresh air and talk to people outside of my household (all while maintaining social distancing protocols of course! - I’ve never been so glad of my 70-200 lens purchase till 2020 happened!).

A Tropical Fall Wedding at Kirigin Cellars | Bay Area Wedding Photographer
I have no idea why I haven’t yet blogged this wedding (shame on me!) , which took place in 2019 (oh, yeah I know why - the pandemic life).
I first briefly met Vicky & Terence at a bridal show in 2018 but it was because of Vicky’s close friend, Cree, who connected us. Cree is a wonderful wedding planner and just an all around great person that I was so lucky to have worked with.
Before their wedding day, Vicky & Terence planned a small tea ceremony at a very well known restaurant, Koi Palace, in Milpitas and I got to capture that and meet a few people before their wedding day (and got to take some yummy food home too!)
