An Intimate Bodega Bay Wedding | Bodega Bay Wedding Photographer
Oh these two! The first time we met- which was way back in 2019 (I think, what even is time? Years? Day?), we shared an amazing meal at a very fun & rambunctious and not to mentioned packed Thai restaurant (oh how I miss going to restaurants with friends). When they booked me, I was so elated and could not wait for their wedding in Monterey in November of 2020. And then….we all know what happened in 2020.
So, once more - this amazing couple, during their re-imagining process and pandemic wedding planning, kept me up to date and decided to move that date to a weekday in October. Asked their closest friends and immediate family to take all necessary precautions - including testing for their big day in Bodega Bay.
When they sent me the airbnb listing for the location of their ceremony, I had to pick up my jaw off the floor - it was GORGEOUS. Of course the days leading up to their wedding date was a little iffy - what with the wet weather -which was much needed, and the night before such strong winds! But on their actual day - it was simply, stunning.
It was such a special day. I completely tried to hold in my tears when I was capturing Megan and her mom getting ready - the day before Megan & Jordan’s wedding day was actually my mom’s birthday. So, seeing Megan and her mom- had me envision my mom being there for me on a day like this.
Honestly, their day was just like a big warm hug - and I sure can’t wait till we can all hug one another again soon. But until then - please do your part!
