Have you ever met someone that you instantly wanted to be friends with and get to know? That’s how it felt when I first met Kat - which happened to be at another intimate destination wedding I documented a few years ago (I need to blog that one too). She was so sweet and kind and was a close friend of my past bride and part of her wedding party. So when it came time for Kat to get married - she said that she couldn't imagine anyone else photographing her day, but me! Meeting her partner Nate after hearing stories of how they met (such a cute story - about a key connecting detail/opening line of..…….a sweater) - warmed my heart as I knew these two were just meant to be. They are kind souls and warm people and they surely had a wedding to match it too- A sweet diy wedding where family & friends played key parts in either making, performing and celebrating them. So glad they trusted me in capturing their wedding day in a tucked away neighborhood in San Rafael, CA. I hope you enjoy this little diy boho wedding!
