Oh for Fox Sake - A long awaited wedding at the Brazilian Room in Tilden Park
So, yes, I’m not great at posting on social media, except maybe for stories. It’s much easier on stories - I don’t have to think, I can just post and if it is that terrible - it’s ok, it’ll go away in the next 24 hours. But now the algorithm wants us to be on reels, and that isn’t as easy.
Anyway, this blog post - I am guilty of not posting it at all on instagram and I REALLY SHOULD! (I AM SO BEHIND ON POSTING - I AM SO SORRY) This couple and wedding was one of my “covid” weddings where they booked me in 2019 for their wedding in 2020. Well, we all know how that went…. but 2022 was/is a different story and am so thankful my couples stuck it out with me.. and here we are!
It was all smiles when I met up with them for their first looks at the rose garden in Berkeley, where I met up with their good friend who was taking care of documenting their day on video. This was actually my first time meeting this stunning couple in person. That may seem unusual to some but it’s not that unusual to me and now with the pandemic and zoom culture, most of my clients I’ve only met online… (and actually continue to)
The Foxes stunned in the wedding classics. Eli in a black tux and Ellen stunned us all in her elegant and modern gown - cause it had POCKETS (plus had an outfit change during the reception)! After their first looks it was off to Tilden Park’s Brazilian room. And yes, the groom cried during the vows! We all cried.. it was so sweet.
Their wedding was definitely a family affair. Such great vibes on the dance floor and an epic bouquet toss!
Anyway, enough of my rambling…enjoy this wedding from the Brazilian room in Berkeley. (It is always so hard to choose just a handful of images to post without having the whole dang gallery up!)
