Boho Inspired, Persian Wedding - Pt. 1
(Sorry but you’re probably tired of hearing this again - why haven’t I blogged this wedding????!!!)
I was super excited to get an email from these two - (from someone recommending me!) and when we scheduled to meet up at Nido- I was supposed to meet up with someone selling their sailboat to me beforehand which was closeby, so I was beyond elated. The day was going so well already!
And then the day came and the sailboat sale fell through (not by the fault of my own but the seller said someone already was in line to purchase. I was super upset by this because, well we had planned to meet and take a look so in the span of about 8 hours, someone already had purchased it?!) all that to say- I was not in a super good mood but having dinner with Cody & Nikkie made it all the better. For reals. It turns out these two are also sailors (ok, not that I’m actually a sailor) and we chatted about how upset I was over losing this sailboat but they reassured me that it was probably for the best and that while I was super bummed- the silver lining was meeting them.
I always love being able to share a meal with my couples. We talked about mezcal and sailboats and how they planned not one wedding but TWO weddings! And the more they shared about their day and about themselves - I was hooked.
How lucky was I to get chosen to capture both their days!
Here is the first part or their first celebration - one shared with family.
Isn’t the Sofreh beautiful? All thanks to the bride’s sister! The catering was also done by family as well, along with some other little touches throughout their day.
And stay tuned for Part 2!
