An Oakland Redwoods Engagement Session

Like most of my good friends who happen to also be photographers, 2022 was very (very) very busy. You wouldn’t really know it from me because, well - I’m really bad at posting on here or on instagram. For the most part it’s because, I needed to take part in life and experiences vs. half experiencing it and being worried about posting it and one day of not posting lead to many many days and months of not.

Sometimes it’s just a struggle because yes, I am a business but I am also a wife, a mom, a friend, a sister, etc etc… and I can’t always be all of those all at once or even sometimes, sometimes… ya know?!

Anyway, I am hoping for 2023, my intentions are to have a better work/life balance and to enjoy our own adventures with our family & friends. Being ok with sometimes posting and sometimes not. Sometimes burning the midnight oil and sometimes going to bed at 9 pm. OH and find more time to read a book!

Ok enough of that - look a new blog post of an engagement session with a cute little rescue pup!

I’m excited for this couple’s upcoming wedding in April. I love when my couple’s bring their fur babies to our sessions and I got to introduce this Oakland redwoods park to this couple and that felt so great! This park is one of my favorites and I often come here with our pup.
