Straus Home Ranch Wedding | Tomales Bay

I don’t know why I haven’t ever blogged this one. Actually, I’ve been feeling that a lot, as I get to look back on all the weddings I got to be a part of. It fills me with such joy and I really do hope my couples feel the same when they relive their day through their gallery, albums or prints.

This wedding at Straus Home Ranch in Tomales bay was such a sweet affair with the couple’s family & friends helping out where they can. The couple’s brother and his family sang an acoustic version of The Postal Service’s Such Great Heights as part of their toasts during the reception. It was so touching. Everyone was so relaxed, comfortable and fun to be around. It wasn’t a surprise to me that I was able to convince the whole family to walk down to the water to take a sunset group photo just for the heck of it (ok because it was a dang beautiful sunset! Just have a look below). It was seriously the best. The couple found me by way of their wedding planner Danielle of Camellia Lane Events, whom I’ve had the pleasure of working with over the years and do hope to continue to.
